My First Car

My 1980 Chevrolet Malibu wagon. I saw it on the side of the road for sale, and thought that I just couldn't pass it up. I decided to buy it, and I am going to drop a 1986 or 1987 Buick 3.8 Fuel Injected/Turbocharged/Intercooled engine, 200-4-R trans., and 3.42 rear-end in it. With that combo, I'll be doing high 13's/low 14's in the 1/4 mile, and with only bolt on parts to the stock block, I'll be running low 12's/high 11's-- OUT OF A LITTLE V6!!! It has a brand new Aiwa stereo system with 180 watt Jensen 6"x9" speakers, 2-12" MTX Thunder 4000 400 watt subwoofers, and a 760 watt Sony X-plod amplifier. Also, it has a roll pan, dark tinted windows, a 2 1/2" flomaster muffler, 17" Edelbrock 409 polished aluminum wheels, and tangerine orange paint with 6 layers of gold pearl. The rear doors are welded shut and smoothed out, and the hood ornament is also shaved off. It still has the original engine and drivetrain, which is a 267 cu. in. V8, a Turbo 350 trans., and a 2.73 rear-end.

Check out the sites of some other wagons that have either been converted over to the turbo drivetrain already, or are on their way to being a turbo wagon.
-Brian from Massachusetts has already done it to a 1982 Buick Reagal wagon, and is also in the process of doing it to a 1983 Chevy Malibu wagon.
